Scarborough M1 Dominate Leeds Adel M3 with a 9-1 Victory

Scarborough bounced back in style after last week's defeat, securing an emphatic 9-1 win over Leeds Adel M3 in a 3 pm away pushback.

First Half Overview
Scarborough started strongly, eager to make a statement, and it didn’t take long to get on the scoreboard. Jason Esposito made an excellent run into the D, setting up Nick Thompson for the first goal. Although Leeds Adel equalised against the run of play, Scarborough quickly regained control as Levi Wontroba netted a second, assisted by Thompson. Anthony Allison then extended the lead with a determined finish after winning back possession. Just before halftime, a well-executed penalty corner saw Thompson slip the ball to Allison, who scored his second to make it 4-1 at the break.

Second Half Overview
Leeds Adel came out with renewed energy, but Scarborough held firm. Scarborough extended their lead with another penalty corner, once again with Thompson setting up Allison for a third goal. Esposito then delivered a superb crash ball into the D, where Allison added his fourth. With momentum fully in Scarborough’s favour, Allison completed a quick-fire double, including a stunning goal into the top corner, both assisted by Monty Burlinson before centre-back Jasper Engelberts then went on a dazzling solo run, beating several defenders before setting up Wontroba’s second goal, rounding out the 9-1 scoreline.

Conclusion
Scarborough comfortably saw out the game, resisting some late pressure to claim an impressive victory and three valuable points. Allison’s six-goal performance earned him the well-deserved Man of the Match.

Player of the Match: Anthony Allison
Allison’s six goals were key to Scarborough’s dominant performance, with a standout strike into the top corner highlighting his impact.

Next Fixture:
